squirrel i saw while running

This is the morning after of my run last night. It feels good. The only mistake I think I made was doing the run 30 minutes after a heavy meal. Doing intervals at one point made me feel like throwing up. My speed has improved  up to 8:11 the first .95 mile. That is a little progress. Minus the walking time, I completed the 3 miles in 26:33. Of course I would be much slower if I’d do it non-stop. My training though, especially when training for a race like 5 k, is focused more on interval for muscle recruitment instead of running long, fast and frequent (the menu for injury). My legs feel ok now. Not sure if I need to do a recovery active run today (slow jog ) or just sit it down and rest. We’ll see. I need to work full day today.
